Johnny's Bio

Johnny began playing drums at the age of 12, rocking along in his garage (on his Premier 60's kit!) to bands such as The Beatles and Nirvana.

During the mid 90's he joined a band with his school mates, primarily covering indie/britpop tunes with some original material thrown in for good measure. 

Shortly after, in 2000, Johnny hooked up with the Somerset-based atmospheric Post-rock band Blueneck and was fortunate enough to tour in Europe, also playing some cool festivals - Denovali Swingfest in 2009, ArcTanGent in 2014 & 2018 and Glastonbury in 2014. 
 

Johnny's favourite band is Radiohead and has fond memories of seeing them play at Glastonbury festival in 2003. 

His drumming style is 'simple-yet-effective' and he loves (amongst other things!) a 4/4 time signature, anything else and his concentrating drum face is further pronounced!?
